The CORTEX Framework is a scalable, extensible, and secure software platform that allows you to build mission-critical, enterprise-level, high-volume, online transaction processing systems. It is the foundation of Micronite's software infrastructure called Customizable Online Rapid Transaction Engine eXtensible (CORTEX).
The CORTEX Framework is designed from the ground up for developing transaction-oriented applications that produce an accountable electronic document containing one or more unique barcodes for tracking the transaction. Some examples are digital invoices and receipts, gift and loyalty cards, movie and travel tickets, coupons, and shipping labels.
The CORTEX Framework is composed of two classes of software components: Business Components, which implement the business rules and behavior of the application, and Data Access Components, which allow uniform access to the database. Working together, they provide a rich set of functionality for rapidly implementing every phase of the transaction life-cycle.
Here are the main features of the core components of the CORTEX Framework:
With the introduction of any new technology, it has to be applied to a real-life application to show that it does what it says.
The CORTEX Framework is proven technology.
Using the CORTEX Framework, Micronite designed and built CortexShip, a transactional system for the global shipping and logistics industry. The United States Postal Service certified CortexShip for use with their Electronic Verification System (eVS), which allows shippers to electronically document shipments and pay for postage and fees.
In the ever-expanding universe of the Internet, coupled with the increasing use of digital documents, the CORTEX Framework offers the potential for unlimited applications.
Imagine the possibilities and make it happen!
